The latest research on moral leadership finds that employees, managers, and executives believe that the need for moral leadership is more urgent than ever. Survey respondents say that leaders who exercise moral authority in addition to formal authority are more effective and better at encouraging creativity and innovation. Yet only a handful of companies have moral leadership.
