“At AARP we think 50 is the new Everything. Our mission is to help people choose how they live as they age.”
- Ellen Hunt
In this second episode of the Principled podcast, brought to you by LRN, we explore issues of ethics, business and compliance, transformative stories of leadership, and inspiring workplace culture. Host Ben DiPietro has a conversation with Ellen Hunt from AARP. Ellen is the senior vice president and head of audit, ethics and compliance at AARP, a non-profit organization that advocates for people over the age of 50.
Ellen gives some insight from her experience at AARP into issues that many organizations face. She has a set of criteria that enables her AARP team to evaluate if what they are implementing works, and to what degree. In her words, the main problem is about reporting, which is the gathering of enough correct and informative data. She explains how she believes changes will play out and what she hopes to see in the next 25 years.
